Hello, I’m John Roy, a proud “probinsiyano” from Ilocos Norte. My journey is one of resilience, unwavering faith, and an unshakable belief in the power of perseverance. It’s a story for anyone who has ever felt broken, lost, or defeated—but still dared to dream again.

In June 2018, I stood proud as I graduated with a degree in BS Mathematics. It felt like the beginning of everything I’d worked so hard for. By September, I was working in the corporate world, ready to climb the ladder of success. But reality soon set in. The 9-to-5 grind didn’t fill the emptiness inside me. I wanted more. I needed more. By December 2019, I walked away from corporate life and started anew as a full-time insurance agent, eager to carve out my own path.

Then the world stopped.

March 2020 brought the lockdown, and with it, the collapse of everything I’d built. My income vanished. My savings dwindled. My dreams felt like they had turned to dust in my hands. I hit rock bottom. Zero. Nothing left but questions—why me? What now? But even in those darkest moments, one truth kept me going: God has a plan. Proverbs 16:9 reminded me, “You may make your plans, but God directs your actions.”

So I picked myself up.

In September 2020, I took a chance and stepped into freelancing. It wasn’t smooth sailing. The challenges were brutal: criticism, rejection, doubts—most of all, my own. Freelancing isn’t for everyone, but I held on to the hope that it was for me. And I was right.

In February 2021, I discovered the world of Amazon Virtual Assistance, and everything began to change. For the first time, I saw a future worth fighting for. By January 2022, I became part of Team Blank, surrounded by people who believed in me even when I doubted myself. I worked tirelessly, pushing through the sleepless nights and sacrifices, knowing that each step forward was bringing me closer to the life I’d always dreamed of.

Growing up, my dream was simple: to treat my family to the grocery store without worrying about the bill. That thought drove me through tough times and motivated me to keep going when everything seemed impossible. Today, by God’s grace, I’ve not only achieved that dream but gone far beyond it. I’ve been able to take my family on trips abroad to Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Dubai, where they’ve experienced the joy of exploring the world and even shopping without limits. Moments like these remind me of how far I’ve come—and why I’ll never stop pushing forward.

Today, I am an entrepreneur, an Amazon specialist, and proof that you can rise again after falling—no matter how far you’ve fallen. I’ve learned that success isn’t about how much money you make. It’s about the people you inspire, the challenges you conquer, and the faith you hold on to when everything feels lost.

Throughout it all, one mantra has guided me: “We are blessed to bless others, and always, it is for Christ.” This belief fuels my work and reminds me that my journey isn’t just about me—it’s about serving, uplifting, and honoring Him in everything I do. I also hold close the words of John 15:5: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” These words remind me that every success and every breakthrough comes from Christ alone.
